FKP - Foundation Kinesiology Practitioner Training
Foundation Kinesiology Practitioner Training classes are open to all, from lay people to those already working in health care practices.
The training focuses on teaching the principles of Kinesiology rather than advanced techniques, which gives you the opportunity to creatively apply Kinesiology theory in your own walk of life.
Foundation Kinesiology Practitioner (FKP) Part 1 (8 days)
FKP Part 1 introduces you to the world of Kinesiology. It gives you a thorough grounding, which provides and excellent foundation for any other kinesiology training and/or an invaluable additional tool to apply in any therapy. It includes all the material taught in Touch For Health Levels 1 & 2 and much more.
You learn the art of muscle testing and muscle biofeedback for assessing Structure - Nutrition - Emotion - Energy.

- the muscle, meridian and organ correlations
- to find connections and prioritise imbalances
- to select the most effective treatment
- to be aware and communicate effectively
You learn a range of gentle yet powerful treatments which stimulate and/or balance all the body's systems: structural, nervous, lymphatic, vascular, emotional, nutritional, energetic etc. plus surrogate testing, basic food testing, useful hand modes and many self-help techniques.
Kinesiology adds the dimension of subtle energy to assessment and treatment and provides a practical way of bringing the body/mind into balance and harmony thereby optimising the self healing process.
Foundation Kinesiology Practitioner (FKP) Part 2 (4 days)
FKP Part 2 includes all the materials in Touch For Health Levels 3 & 4 and more. It expands your knowledge and skills and adds new wonderful options and possibilities.
You learn:
- more useful muscle tests for a more comprehensive assessment
- additional corrections and energy balancing methods
- more about Traditional Chinese Medicine and the acupuncture system
- assessing and balancing the emotions, sounds, colour, odours etc.
- postural analysis, accident trauma release, pain release and control
- advanced emotional balancing
- the latest exciting developments in Kinesiolgy
Home Study
Throughout the course you need to allow a minimum of three hours study/practice per week. Although most students take FKP Parts 1 & 2, Part 1 may be taken on its own. Having completed the full FKP training you have a comprehensive system of health care, which you can apply with confidence to yourself and others.
Once you have completed this course you are able to take the diploma course, and we can offer various other short courses in related subjects.
Part 1
- Day 1 - Introduction to Kinesiology: Muscles and Assessment.
- Day 2 - Meridians and Assessment.
- Day 3 - Muscle Biofeedback, Indicator Muscle, Goal setting, surrogate testing.
- Day 4 - Corrections, treatment and balancing.
- Day 5 - Acupuncture energy concepts: Patterns of energy flow, priority balancing.
- Day 6 - Five Elements metaphor and law: Priority balancing.
- Day 7 - Electrical and Nutritional Tests: Corrections and balancing.
- Day 8 - Management and Integration in other Therapies.
Part 2
- Day 9 - Additional muscle tests and Five Element Priority balance.
- Day 10 - Postural analysis, reactive muscles, gaits.
- Day 11 - Five Element correspondences and Tibetan figure of 8 energy.
- Day 12 - Pain control, ESR past and future. Postural stress release. Review.
FKP - Foundation Kinesiology Practitioner Training

The FKP Foundation Course Consists of Six Weekend Modules at Approximately One Month Intervals.

- Module 1 - January 16th & 17th 2010

- Module 4 - April 17th & 18th 2010
Course dates - Part 2
- Module 5 - June 12th & 13th 2010

FKP (consisting of 12 days) $1800
A non-refundable deposit of $600 is payable with your application. The balance is paid in six installments of $200, paid at the start of each weekend class or $100 for each day (depending on the schedule).
