First Degree Reiki Class
Reiki is a gentle loving treatment given simply through the laying on of hands.
Reiki is a Japanese word representing Universal Life Energy, the energy which is all around us. In healing, Reiki addresses body, mind and spirit. It accelerates the body’s ability to heal physical ailments and open the mind and spirit to the source of dis-ease, treating the whole person rather than just the symptoms.
Learning Reiki is a way of taking responsibility for yourself, a way to take care of yourself emotionally, physically and spiritually.
The Class
This class attunes you to the energy of Reiki which clears the healing channel, increasing your natural ability to heal which we all have. This level is all about YOU. A Reiki 1 treatment works from a sub-cellular level to cause the body to return to its natural state of balance and harmony.
You are the most important person in YOUR life and once you have healed yourself you are in a much better place to be able to help others.

Second Degree Reiki Class
This class is for students who are already aligned to the First Degree Reiki and have used it regularly for at least 3 months.
The Class
Reiki 2 opens additional energy centers and connects you to a higher vibration of Reiki energy. During the course, you are given the sacred symbols which are used to strengthen mental and emotional healing and to send distant healing. A large part of the training received in Second Degree is centered on the understanding and use of these symbols.
In Reiki 2 training you receive two attunements. At this stage of the training, the energy attunement is greatly amplified and its focus is on the etheric body rather than the physical. As a result of these attunements, you may develop both a greater sensitivity to energy and a psychic awareness.
